At Quest Global Ltd., we offer value added products like calcined bauxite of high grade to cater to needs of its discerning customers who are also quality demanding.
Calcined Bauxite is obtained by calcining (heating) superior grade Bauxite at high temperature (from 850°C to 1600°C). This removes moisture and therefore increases the alumina content. Compared to an alumina content of about 47% to 49% in raw Bauxite, calcined bauxite has an alumina content of about 80% to 87%. The heating is carried out in rotary kilns/ Shaft kilns. Calcination is done at different temperatures ranging from 850 to 1600 degrees depending upon their necessity. Calcined Bauxite is mainly used for refractories and abrasives. The product is offered to clients in the foriegn market. Tie- up with best quality calcined bauxite plants to produce value added bauxite products.
We offer Calcined Bauxite for refractory, abrasive, welding, fluxes and anti skid applications.
